Intimate Dinner Showcase

BRIEF 

London caterer, Moving Venue required a prestigious venue to deliver a beautifully intimate dinner for 36 of their key clients.

SOLUTION

Moving Venue partnered with Landing Forty Two, Vibration Design and Production, Millharbour and Pinstripe & Peonies to showcase the venue as a fantastically diverse space and demonstrate how clients can segment the venue to provide multiple defined areas – a must for many event briefs. 

EXPERIENCE

Pinstripe and Peonies built a stunning botanical wall using ferns and glass shelving to create two defined  spaces, one for the reception and the other for dinner. Vibration Design and Production dressed the space with pin spot lighting, branded LED bars and soft furniture, while Millharbour produced branding on the bar fronts, large vinyl window menus and decorative artwork frames to help emphasise the botanical theme.

During the drinks reception, Moving Venue served brand new canapés from their autumn/winter menus as well as a ‘dig your own garden’ starter station serving ‘pea and basil mousse, salt-baked celeriac and rosemary mousse with edible soil and baby vegetables’. This was followed by a delicious two-course meal of ‘rump of lamb with crispy lamb belly, spring cabbage, garlic and potato emulsion, lamb and almond sauce’ followed by ‘rosemary panna cotta’.

The promotional event was a huge success and guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves. One commented by saying “Thank you very much for having us at Landing Forty Two! We absolutely loved it. Needless to say, everything was flawless and the food was delicious! As if that was not enough, we also now have an office fern which we will cherish as a team! Great to see the venue and to catch up with you guys, so thank you once again.”
