The Rose Wedding

BRIEF

Mr and Mrs Rose to be, Emma and James required a super chilled wedding venue suitable for 80 guests.

SOLUTION

The Pumping House was chosen as the venue for the couple’s special day due to its idyllic setting, flexibility and relaxed environment.

EXPERIENCE

The set-up was super dreamy with lots of bits from a modern homeware brand, leather ties for the napkins, beautifully printed menu cards and the talented team at Campbells Flowers finishing off the tables with the most incredible combination of British and South African flowers.

The ceremony was personal and full of romance, friends and family presented readings chosen by the couple and the Buzztones (an acapella group) sang throughout the signing of the register. Whilst the photographer took the Bride and Groom for their woodland shots, guests enjoyed a relaxed drinks reception complete with a self-serve gin bar and acapella music.

Emma and James opted for the ever-popular Tapas Menu – perfect for couples that still want to share a hearty meal with their guests but are looking for something a little less formal in comparison to the traditional three-course meal. There were, antipasti-boards filled with artisan breads, continental cheeses, meats and olives plus sharing bowls of meatballs, prawns and of course plenty of mouth-watering vegan and veggie dishes. To finish, a mini duo of Tiramisu and Lemon Sorbet was offered to guests to enjoy.
