The Pumping House

Based in Nottinghamshire, The Pumping House is an award-winning corporate events and wedding venue.

Originally known as Boughton Pumping House and opened in 1905, The Pumping House is positioned on the edge of the world renowned Sherwood Forest. Conveniently located just a short distance from Sheffield, Nottingham, Lincoln and the A1, it is a perfect regional or national venue for Midlands-based companies’ meetings, conferences, dinners, awards, receptions or seasonal events.

The Pumping House is an incredibly flexible venue, with the Engine Hall offering a maximum capacity of 200 delegates and the Ollerton Room holding up to 100 delegates. Both event rooms are flooded with natural daylight through stunning arched windows and have high ceilings for an airy, energising feel. The venue also has a selection of breakout rooms and offers excellent facilities, including in-house projection, complimentary WiFi, extensive wired internet and power points along with 85 free car parking spaces.

If you’re holding an evening event such as a post-conference dinner or reception, the ten stunningly designed guest bedrooms on-site are the ideal addition to the event offering. The Pumping House team can also recommend some excellent local hotels able to accommodate larger groups.

Together with their experienced in-house catering team, the staff are on hand to offer a variety of suggestions from a fuelling conference buffet to a bespoke three-course dinner menu ensuring that guests leave with an unforgettable corporate event experience.
