Tech. Powered by Retail Week and World Retail Congress
The UK-based magazine, Retail Week and World Retail Congress, required a London venue for their two-day B2B conference and exhibition.
Printworks London was the optimum choice for Tech. 2018 and returned back for Tech. 2019. As a vast venue offering interlinking spaces, there was ample room to create a large exhibition space, conference and awards plenary area, an outdoor street food market and an afterparty in the mighty Press Halls.
Over 2,000 attendees flowed in through The Vanway, which acted as a registration portal, before filtering into Publishing where various break-out zones were created, and on into HSBC for the main expo. Giant technology players in the main room included Google Cloud, Klarna and also Nosto; who sponsored various areas within the space.
Outside in the Container Yard, guests were able to relax and enjoy KERB’s mouth-watering selection of street food provided by carefully chosen traders.
The Tech. Awards were held in the impressive Reel Storage warehouse, which features sky-high ceilings and offers a maximum capacity of 1,000. It was here that a host of big brands and small start-ups received recognition for their technological achievements, before being ushered into The Press Halls for a well-deserved after party. DJing the party were musical icons Melvo Baptiste and The Shapeshifters, making the strikingly industrial backdrop come to life.
